4 Indiana lifters competed at the Bench Nationals in Orlando Fl. Jeff Cardinal, Kevin Hutchinson,
Henry Conway & Joe Dibert all made the journey but what is more impressive is that they ALL LIFTED RAW.
In this day and age of high tech gear I am sincerely impressed whenever someone takes off the gear and removes any
questions as to their strength.
Jeff and Henry both lifted in the now 105kg class amidst
20+ other contenders however only 4 were brave enough to go without gear. Jeff lifted in the M2 class and posted an
impressive 319# BP and Henry lifted in the M3 class (at the young age of 65) and posted an impressive 292# BP.
Kevin competed in the 120kg class with a large group as well. He posted an impressive 424#BP and was 6th overall
REGARDLESS OF GEAR!
Joe lifted in the SHW class amidst another tough group. He posted an
impressive 474#BP and placed 1st in his age group.
All are to be commended for their performance
and their commitment to raw lifting.
